| KISS OF THE NIGHT WIND 12/31/97 3:02 p.m. | TALIA OF THE TOWER 12/27/97 9:30 | ||||||||||||||||
|
I wander through the night Like a lone gunman alert I watch & wait for it to happen With my weighted finger to trigger The kiss of the gentle night wind Brush against my hand Telling me to be cautious But not stupid. Ready, but calm "You've been here before, my friend The times are not different, no! Nor will they be during your time. You can rest, my friend, calm by" Yes, rest, atleast, I can. For Now! |
I vanish in a misty corridor of time. I watch; I wait, but can not claim The corners of mine own identity. Shall I go unnoticed, milord? Shall you sentince me to this fate? Aye! Breathe; I bleed, but am not content. I live out my time alone, but not I owe you a mark and a death. But you owe me a life not yet lived! I await your answer to my plea. Nay! I beg your mercy to it, sovereigh. Your humble servant, Talia
| THE WEDDING OF THE STARS | |||||||||||||||||
|
Once upon a time, I saw two stars on a cloudy night; Too far apart shining dully in the night filled sky, Never knowing that together they could shine on so bright; Floating together so softly like the breeze of a sign. Each would claim to great happiness when around the other Just content, but still too lonely in the stifling crowd But in truth each had wishes for the true love from afar, Brought together on a breeze floating lightly on a cloud, Then one night, quite sudden, the heavens made a quiet shift. The two stars close now, bringing both to blissf'ly happy tears. Because their love was much closer, their hearts began to life, And their peace soon came as their night once again became clear.
